Subject: Urgent Appeal for the Protection of

          Indian Students in Kyrgyzstani.

Your Excellency,

I am writing to you on behalf of Human Rights Defence International (HRDI), an organization deeply committed to the welfare and protection of the Indian diaspora and Indians around the world. We are extremely concerned about the recent attacks on Indian students in Kyrgyzstan on May 13th and 14th, which have resulted in significant fear and anxiety among the Indian student community.

It has come to our attention that around 10,000 Indian students pursuing their studies in various educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan are feeling unsafe due to these unfortunate incidents. These students have chosen Kyrgyzstan for its reputable educational opportunities and have always been respectful of the local laws and customs. We kindly urge your esteemed office to take immediate and effective measures to ensure the safety and security of Indian students in Kyrgyzstan.

We request increased protection, prompt investigation into the attacks, and stringent actions against those responsible. It is crucial to restore a sense of safety and normalcy among these young individuals who have left their home country to pursue their academic dreams in Kyrgyzstan. We trust that the Kyrgyz authorities will uphold the principles of safety and justice, ensuring that such incidents do not recur.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this urgent matter and look forward to your positive response. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Yours sincerely,
